Business Needs
Bay Cities is a local Paving & Grading company
that was having a lot of trouble supporting their
network and end users. Before PC Professional, Bay
Cities had a technician monitor their network part
time after hours. This arrangement was no longer
working for the company as their network suffered
significant amounts of downtime every week. This
downtime affected their business as it made it
nearly impossible to communicate to their remote
sites and their business became inefficient. When PC
Professional was first contacted our technicians
were onsite weekly trying to keep their business
functional. The client decided that they could not
afford lost productivity and wanted to be able to
communicate with the remote locations on a regular
basis.
Solution
After a full site audit, our Technicians
determined that their infrastructure needed to be
reorganized and updated. During the workday and
after hours, our Technical Engineering staff
conducted a complete network and server migration.
With a new server and a better infrastructure
layout, Bay Cities became a managed customer. Since
the part time engineering help no longer seemed
enough, technician Charles Hawbaker began an 4 hours
per week outsource. As a mid-sized company, Bay
