A Growing Local Government Department Contracts Printers to Ensure Uptime
Business Needs
A local government department came to PC Professional seeking help maintaining their printers. In a growing department with nearly seventy printers onsite, there was a definite need for printer service on a contract basis. They did not want to hassle with printer part approval on each individual part, but rather have a flat rate with repair and preventative maintenance included in one annual contract. Printer contract service includes fast, onsite response to the issues that afflict businesses daily such as: paper jams, printing alignment issues, excessive ink and many others.
Solution
After our IT consultants identified the client’s needs and wants, a two year service level agreement was drawn up to encompass all of their department printers. SLA’s are beneficial for companies that cannot afford a hardware malfunction. To meet the department’s needs, the contract was designed with next-day onsite response, quarterly maintenance onsite for all printers listed, updated inventory at the beginning and ending of the contract of agency units as well as all needed parts are covered under the contract including maintenance kits.
Benefits
Many clients see immediate benefits with proactive printer maintenance. Our SLA agreements ensure that all contracted printers are taken care of prior to them affecting your business. Contracted printers receive next-day service support, all printer parts are covered under your SLA as well as your printer inventory is tracked and feedback on your printers’ health is provided when needed.
